Overview
This course helps students to integrate behavioral science theories, tools, concepts, and techniques of organizational development and apply in their organizations. Students are expected to conceptualize and apply organization behavior three-level of analysis and synthesize it with the theory and practice of planned change for individuals, groups and organizations. Throughout the course, participants are exposed to important topics central to the behaviors of organization and its holistic process for development and change. Some of the topics include multiple views of organizations that influence organizational change and the evolution of organizational development and its challenges. This course covers the nature and theories of planned change, types of change, roles of value, ethics in organization and the concept of emergent change. It enables participants to have an overall view on how organizational behavior and development approaches can be applied in an organizational setting.
